MMP in Sensored has problems with a lot of motors smart sence is even worse.

+1 . I agree to, but try a new sensor cable or check the sensor area for breaks.

traxxas is worse then castle.. try a novak kentic or tekin rs or something race worthy.

Also you mentioned it got hot...How hot? Did you temp it? I've had a SP and LRp 13.5 motor get rlly super hot when I first started brushless and they nvr worked the same again.

It didn't get super hot but enough to be of concern...I didn't have a temp gun...but it was cogging from the get go. I don't have a Tekin or a Novak to try and test with.

The issues sounds like a bad sensor board on the motor. If more than 1 esc is seeing the problem this is the most likely problem.

Funny, I remember not long ago how you were commenting how well the VXL worked sensored in your Hyper 10 hahaha all be it with a motor other then a viper :)

Oh cool, I saw your B4 at Rob's house the other day and I didn't notice a Viper esc in it. I think it had a Tekin in it... anyway right on man. Where you going to race at this weekend?
