Hey all, running a SC10 and I am looking at gearing for a 17.5 motor with the 10R exc. I run on a high/med grip, 40' X 100' indoor track. The track has a good 100 foot straight and alot of tight technical turns.
Also, what does the BEC do on the Pro Guage?

Brent - which ever is easier for you.
AfterTithes - I normally run between 75/27-29 (with our VST motor) depending on traction and temps. With 17.5 be careful not to run too much longer than your racers - that is where the excess heat builds up.
tibbs - been pretty good. I know one of my drivers in the NE has reported great success with 3 trophy race weekends on his test unit already. 2- TQ's, a win, a second and a third. Not bad for a new "play toy". One or two less bobbles and it probably would have been at least 2 wins.
Hpifanboi - sorry about any confusion, once you fill out the RMA information, send it to us with the required information. Don't know about the messages, Eric (and me) are generally pretty good with returning messages. So I apologize if it feel through the cracks.
Just to remind everyone - Eric is at the Reedy Race of Champions - On Road this weekend, so he will be a couple days behind with RMA's when he gets back but it shouldn't be too bad.

Need some help. I installed my VTX10 & Viper 8.5 into my XXX-SCT. This was a complete brand new build from scratch. The receiver is a brand new spektrum also. I got it binded. Did the Throttle, Brake, and reverse settings. Got it out on my test track. Pulled the trigger it ran for 10 ft and shut off... The ESC is on but no power to the motor. Took it back inside. Re-Binded it. Put it down on track again. Ran about 20 feet this time and did the same thing. NO CLUE!!! Plugged the pro-gauge into it went to link system and it said contact failed!!! HELP!!! Oh battery has a full charge.
Should I just call VIPER Direct???

Spider - check the simply things first. Solder and battery connections. Sensor wire connections- especially on the speed control, it's a little hard to see down there sometimes. If you made any changes with the ProGauge make sure the battery cut up level isn't really high, or motor speed control temperatures too low. If it works on the bench running the throttle and brake, but cuts off when you run it, there is a loose connection somewhere. Feel free to PM me with more questions if needed.

Need quick help.
I installed VTX10R with Pro 4 . Bind it with transmitter. But ESC do not work properly. If I push throttle very quickly the motor do not rotate. If I push throttle slovely everythink is fine.
I check Lipo cut-off at 6.5V. Battery is IP 6200 60C fully charged. Wires is ok. Simple After 6 hours I have run to race with my slash. Any comments where could by the problem?

rcq- we can not guarantee the way our equipment works with that motor, its a specification from that company, not ours. I know some have said it works. I have not seen it work. We can only go by their recommendations.
