like to say Welcome to all our new Viper team mates.
Just got my 17.5t hooked up in my xxx-sct backed by a LRP SXX V2 (until I get my Vtrax10r) and tested it, this thing is nasty fast my tekin that I was running before couldn't touch this thing.
I will be running the Presidents Day Classic at Redline RC in Ogden UT this Weekend and will post updates
I will also be running this secret weapon at this years Cactus Classic in march.

I would like to say Thank you to Viper R/C solutions for accepting me as a team driver. I am looking forward to running the VST series of brushless motors and soon to be released Vtraxs 10 esc.
I was part of TQracing before it was what it is today and it is nice to know that I get to do it again with Viper r/c solutions.

We will see though...Not going to overgear her....shooting for temps from 115-125 on the motor. Should be safe for longevity.

Not a large track...pretty tight with a lot of bite. Out of the 15-20 running the class there, there might be a couple that are running 550's, 540's seem to be just fine in the little beasty...

i work on a hyper 10tt with a 4.5 550can have raced it twice. (no local class so i run with the 4x4 sc class.)
i almost ran it with the nitro guys too but i ran out of charged batteries. lol.
i like to just make it as easy as possible on Electronics and the 550 cans in the little guy just make it so easy.

We still have work to be done on the boost function for the Vtrax series, but it is getting very strong. At the Hungarian Nationals last weekend factory Viper driver Laszlo Kiss-Orban finished 9th in the A-main of their mod equivalent class - 10.5t motor limit boosted tc, running a VST 10.5 and Vtrax10R boosted esc. Laszlo also finished 3rd in their stock equivalent class - 17.5t controlled LRP speedo running a VST 17.5.
We are doing extensive development this week and just completed the onroad testing in California. I haven't heard a report yet but Viper driver Eric Kim had this to say after the weekend test session:
The esc's have been absolutely amazing in all non-boosted conditions and this brief feedback of the boosted testing sounds great
Tomorrow we transition to the offroad testing. Wiring up electronics now...
