Me too, u realize viper buggy motor is actually 74mm length. Long enough to handle a truggy.

It is??

Doesn't the spec sheet say 72mm ??

If it is actually 74mm, it may not fit in my Caster EX1R.

If that's the case, I may have to upgrade to the EX1.5R

Yes it's written but I measure side by side with my hobbywing 4274(2000kv truggy motor) it's the same length.

Not many new slim buggies can fit it.

Hey Trevor welcome to the team,, let me know if your running boost or not,, and what kind of timming you are running on the motor and what you have for gearing,, im leaving for the Motorama show on thurs and running the 17.5 stock buggy class no boost,, just looking for a starting point,, i just switched from my speed passion control to my lrp sphere comp 2007.

Hello,
We run our clubraces with zero boost/timing on esc. I generally max the timing on the external ring. I will be geared @ 35-78 in a Team Losi xxxCR with a 65c Thunder Power pack. What car are you running?

Good Luck @ Motorama man!

Ive pretty much decided to ditch timing on the speedo... im just as fast, if not faster without timing.
