But statistically, life battery can reduce the lifetime expectancy on cheap 6V servos.. i don't think will happen on Savox.
rhank you for all the info !just wanted to make that would be ok in my truggy.thank u

Default 1268 issues

If anyone can help this would be great, I recently pick up 2 1268 hook them up to my receiver and the steering servo has a glitch or twitches when left alone an does not seem to perform like the other servo. I switch the servos ( throttle is not steering and steering is now throttle) but still the same outcome. I am running these on 6 volts, so any help would be great.

thanks

I have a savox 1258tg for steering in my xb4 and it would loose center after running a few mins after some big jumps my steering would be off to the right or left and i would have to recenter with my transmitter. I checked my servo horn and its not stripped but would not be at 12 o clock where it should be. I looked at the internal gears and they all look ok.

Default about 1211sg

i have bought 1211sg wp servo 2 years ago. but never used. im sure when i buy, input says 4.8-6.0v on rcmart, i m sure savox usa description page has torque and speed for only 6v. but savox usa listing this servo as high voltage now. i wrote them, ask if they update hardware. they says it was already high voltage servo. after that, i checked web archive websites, on 2015, 1211sg has not listed as high voltage. i tell them about that and they change their reply: "We have done a little more research into this servo, and have found that this is indeed a running change, and it has recently become a high voltage servo. We have no way to verify if you have the high voltage model, so we do not suggest that you use it with your 7.4V LiPo. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience."
i surprized they have no clear idea about their servo. first time they said this servo was found high voltage. now, almost every seller sells this as 6.0v. if there is two different hardware model, my servo is old one im sure is there anyone uses this servo with direct lipo? or hv bec. i want to use it on 7.5v bec setting mamba monster x.

Shame. Looked in stock the other day when I posted. Doesn't look like there are any online in the USA. Plenty overseas in the UK and HK. Perhaps an email to savox USA maybe a good idea to see when fresh stock is expected.

I can' afford to buy HV yet not until tax time but I would love to be able to use these lipos until then. Any info/advice would be great! Thanks!
I’m using Lihv no issues yet

You run gas or electrics? And with what servo's?
If you run electrics then the ESC does lower the voltage to mostly 6v.

f you run gas and use LiHV on 6V servo's w/o an issue, good for you but do not whine if your car will smash uncontrolled in into a wall. If it works for you it does not mean it is advisable.
