Hey, guys. I just picked up a 1258TG servo for my FT SC10. I was testing the servo before installing it and I would get a "brown" out when the servo tunred to one side. Meaning the servo would stop turning and there would be a momentary power loss to the servo and receiver. I tried another receiver and the same thing would happen. Anyone else ran into this problem? I'm thinking I got a bad servo but want to be sure before I send it back to AMain Hobbies. Thanks!

Troy.

Get a Spektrum glitch buster.

When you set your end points it should eliminate some of that
But as posted by so*cal afdude a glitch buster from spectrum will fix it or if your a cheap skate like me buy a 4700uf 10 volt cap and use a old servo extension and make your own for a buck or 2

We make our own as well. Just used Spekys as a reference because they're larger than Novaks

Guys, I'm gonna be straight to the point, I'm lost and looking for help lol

Getting major glitching/brown out issues. It's severe and I loose all control and can see the rx shut on/off. At the point of selling both of these new servos, radio system, and starting over :( Rather sell radio if needed...
Tried glitch buster, tested diff. servos, switches, and nothing. Never had this problem before, until I used this servo
Should I try Life-Po?
DX3S
SR300 and tried pro receiver
JR9100s
1256tg
Transponder
Nimh 5 cell 1400mah

Hello,

I am planning to run a Savox 1267 in an RC8Be and was going to use a castle 10A Bec set to 7.4v. My question is whether I will still need a capacitor to eliminate any glitching while using a Spektrum SR300 receiver.

Thanks.

Was gonna buy another 1258tg for an scte but i think the 2271sg might be an even better option for $10 more dollars :) Has anybody ran this I cannot find much about it online

I just stumbled on the sale they are having. It was $149, now $79. For that price, I couldn't resist it, so I have one on the way.

try a different battery pak, when using a seperate battery for rx/servos you should not need a glitch buster

Can I run my 1256tg on a lipo without regulator?

Are there any known problems with SC1268SG and Spektrum SR3100 DSM2 3CH Receiver when it is plugged to the throttle channel?

My problem is, when I turn the receiver on, the savox 1268SG makes a full turn to one side and then it goes back to the center position. As you can imagine this is not very helpful on the throttle/break side because it goes full the way to one side and this is much too long for my break.

When I but the savox on the steering channel it makes no movement when I turn the receiver on. The wired thing is, when I put my Vortex 2612HV on the throttle channel and turn the receiver on, it makes no initial movement and stays in his center position.
What I think, the savox 1268SG has a problem with the failsafe Mode of the Spectrum SR3100 DSM2 3CH Receiver. I set the failsafe server position to the neutral position but it didn’t change the behavior of the savox servo.

I also tried to reset and recalibrate my DX3R Pro but didn’t change anything.

any ideas?
