anyway, whice servo can you recomend that will be good for my 1/10 car and in the future for 1/8 car?
thx

SC-1256TG should suit both, bit of overkill for the 1/10th though

I run a 1256/1258 combo in my 1/8 nitro buggy. I just switched to a 7.4v 2300 mah Lipo receiver pack.

Do I need to run a regulator with these servos?

Quick Shout Please...

I'm installing an SC-1267SG into an SC10 4x4.

Which servo horn should I use?

Airtronics/JR/Sanwa

Hitec

Futaba

Thats what I put in my SC10 4x4 and its a BEAST. You will need a servo extension if you are planning on running the receiver box. I picked up a 3" JR heavy duty extension and it worked like a charm.

The only savox servo you don't need a regulator for are the 67's and 68's. I run these in both my buggy and truggy with straight lipo and love it. Best HV servo I've ran and the price is just wonderful. Oh and be careful with those regulators. I had one go one me while practicing. Not sure if it could of burned up my non HV servos but that would have sucked if it did.

Forgot to ask my qustion  lol I've been getting a buzzing sound out of my 1267 buggy steering. Thing is It only makes the sound when the horn is on. Just started when I changed to an alum horn from the stock plastic. Any clue why? Hope its not going out on me. I'd had to be without it. Thanks

sounds like there is pressure on the horn from the linkages, that's what happened to me, now very quiet

a little noise is normal for these servos, just servo always looking for center, start you engine and you wont even know its there...LOL (unless it electric)

That's great news. I couldn't put my finger on it and was getting worried. My 8ights have put me through some servos. I'm hoping these last for a long time. Thanks guys
