It runs the same software in a much smaller case, its a neat little unit, with a 2 cap board, much easier to mount than the Version 2 units.

Had some very nice performance on the weekend, setting new track record by 4 seconds. Im not going to buy into the whole ESC dick measuring match, but it gives nice smooth power, crisp drag brake and awesome brakes. As most people know, i am a product slut, if its new and shiny i will end up trying one, and have used most on the market, and this is as good if not better than anything ive tried, add to that bargain basement suggested pricing, it will be a very popular litle unit, it will be available soon i believe.

Some pics, sorry for phone quality pics, and dodgy wiring, but give you an idea of the unit.

any idea on pricing yet?

cool, so the power cap is smaller? or is it embedded? Can't tell from your pics. My friends saw the huge caps on the V2, and they went "meh".

Speed Passion has the 2.1 version which is smaller. Has or is HW going to release the same version as SP has?

Has anyone used the Xeruns at ROAR sanctioned events where ROAR rules apply? I still don't see any Xeruns listed on the ROAR approved sportsman ESC list.

The cap is a 2 barrell unit, half as long as the std old one, but im told they are better caps and more effective than the old one. I believe they are on all recently shipped HW 120 amp units also.

In my car its under the top deck.

SP GT2.0 and SP GT2.1 have same size. Difference is on fan size and height

Nope they do as a gift, with a more friendly value. So that's the landed price.

I paid £50.00 with free postage for the 60A version and they just sent it as a gift and low value anyway lol. Oh for the love of Hong Kong!

518 422

hi can anyone tell me the difference between 518 and 422 soft wear thanks

BILKO1 06-09-2010 06:08 AM

When buying from Hong Kong don't use EMS postage as you get hammered for import duty and £19 Royal mail handling fees even it it is under valued and sent as a gift. I queried the fees with Royal mail / parcel force and they told me Customs and Excise are getting hot on goods from the far east. It never used to be like this, guess they are getting gready now. Why can't UK shops get anyway near the prices from Hong Kong?
