whos using XP ds1015 servos?

I have seen nothing but good things with them and I actually heard that the transit time rating is actuallybeing modest. I hear they are really faster than that. My question is do they have that 1 plastic "saver gear" in them? I want these to be my next servos if I ever need any ever again but if they have that 1 plastic gear I wont like that. I ued to run KO servos and had tons of problems in truggy steering stripping out that "saver" gear so thats when I switched to Hitec.
yes there is 1 plastic gear...but the problem wasn't soo much the gears....but the Top cases....as once the pin retainer's wore out the gears would get sloppy...skip a gear and destroy one gear or the other...sometimes its the plastic gear...sometimes the other's....but ive now seen that they have Brass bushing's in the top cases...which should solve the issues completely...i think ill get a couple new top cases and rebuild my 1015's yett again...but if i have another failure i will literally throw my 6 or so 1015's in the bin.....ive had soo many issues with them over the years i could honestly care less about them.

i have 2 days of running on them now. they are sweet. i did have one screw back out if the case. guess im going to have to lock tight them or somthing. im not sure if they pull alot of current or not?? i got about 5.5 tanks out of a orion 1600 pack today before they slowed down. is that bad?

Man you need to check out your cells or your servo setup if your only getting 45mins from 1400's
I'm can do a hour long main on my intelect 1200's no problem running 2x 1015's and a personal transponder.
I've reasently gone to 1500's as my packs were getting a little old... 2 years old.... but the last time I used them was a hour long main at a major event, no problem
