Very happy with ACE servo's in my Truggy, so much so that no others were considered for my buggy (Just purchased). Best performance and VFM IMHO.

Ive got dual associated 1015's in my mp9 and I love them. when i built my truggy i went Hitec for the warranty. if my 1015's ever take a dump i'll switch to hitec only for the sake of the warranty and so all my servos match.

So far the associated have been a dream

if you choose to use a different brand servo horn (or have to use a different brand Ie 808 throttle) then all you have to do is cut a small peice of a plastic bag and press the horn over the top of it onto the spline to take out any slack ,this trick works perfectly.

1015 for BUGGY Steering is perfect, have only stripped one set of gears due to steering with zero slop and a tight servo saver.

1313 for throttle has good braking force (plenty of torque) and is pretty quick. I could get away with two 1015s or two 1313s, but like to take the best of both worlds for the application.

No issues with ACE / Assoc XP servos so far and I have used and abused four or so for the past year and a half.

i went with 2 1015s incase one fails i have the same one to replace it .. and i can throw whatever BS on the throtle if need be. so futaba fits. or i need to put a plastic bag on it? that dont sound to comforting for my brand new servos...

I've been using dynamite alloy horns, futaba spline on my truggy for the last year, no issues at all.

I have seen nothing but good things with them and I actually heard that the transit time rating is actuallybeing modest. I hear they are really faster than that. My question is do they have that 1 plastic "saver gear" in them? I want these to be my next servos if I ever need any ever again but if they have that 1 plastic gear I wont like that. I ued to run KO servos and had tons of problems in truggy steering stripping out that "saver" gear so thats when I switched to Hitec.

Yes the first gear is plastic, but it is the third gear that is brass that I have
stripped the teeth off, never the plastic. I had this in a 3.3 Revo and it didn't like it.
I went through 3 gear sets, I have it in my truggy now and have had no problems since.
It seems it was just to strong for the brass it was made from.
Oddly enough I put the ds1313 in the Revo and have had no problems since.
