Ordered one today with an extra 451R RX :)
|
Got mine yesterday! A hell of a difference from my Spectrum DX3Rpro.
I have to use it for a while to get use to the extremely extended programming interface. Control speed is slightly faster but signal strenght is far more noticeable. I believe i've made a pretty good deal with the 451/451R combo package. |
I've got a big event, but not sure whether to use it this weekend.
Lee Martin has offered to help me settle in with it, so I'm leaning towards a yes. |
sorry guys i'm being lazy - can you use spektrum sr300 receivers with this radio?
thanks mark |
No it does not.
Mine turned up, god it's heavy compared to a Spek DX3R. Looks like a LIPO to be ordered at some point. |

Also check the servo monitor/display (can't remember the exact correct name) where you can see exactly where the throttle trigger or steering wheel is in its range. It's the one you get when you press the * (star) button, the key to the left of the Enter button. At least that way you know what signal the TX is sending out and if when you move the trigger to reverse, the TX is actually sending a signal to move the servo/ESC to the reverse/brake side.

sub trim was the answer. shes a runner now. would love to work out proper traction control for starts witht he corr truck. more tinkering required.

It's possible to program the m11x, so when I press the button , it switched on 100% throttle ? This would help in the long straight, if I use for example 85%...

This is probably a stupid question, but how do I know that my receivers are capable of handing a 2s lipo? I know the first generation receivers can't handle this, but the newer version handle it without a problem. I just don't know which receivers I have.

Not a stupid question at all(!!), I had the exact same problem trying to find this information as you are. When the website says one thing, the packaging says another and the intruction manual inside the box contradicts the specs printed on the outside of the box, how is any sane person to know what to believe when Sanwa/Airtronics can't even agree with themselves!!!:mad: WTF?? :(
Because of all the misleading and contradicting specs, I emailed Airtronics Support about this very topic a few months back and their answer was: All FHSS-3 receivers are fine to use with up to 7.4V input. So for the M11x, this would be the RX451/92744 and RX451R/92451 receivers. Both are warranted to work with 7.4V/2s LiPo.:nod: Hope that helps... I've no idea what you're referring to when you mention 1st or 2nd generation receivers. Just check the model number printed on the top of the receiver itself. |

I thought I read somewhere that were different version of the receivers, but I guess I dreamed that :D |
