...is any one running the RX451 with a 7.4v lipo rx hump pack plugged directly into it? Reason im asking is that the input voltage is 6v and lipos can be as high as 8.4v when fully charged. Will I fry it or is it safe to do??

...or must a 6v lipo regulator be used? please let me know. Install is going into an rc boat, one 1/4 scale servo and one standard sized.

man read the page before and you will find the answser!

...ive read it mate but its not that clear. A simple yes or no answer would be great to avoid me frying the rx if it wont work. Some say yes others say they use the 451R which is made to support lipos.

Will the 451 be okay with a lipo plugged directly into it?

Man, read post #606, #607, #609 and #610 on page 41 - The answer is: They can handle LiPo.

Guys:

Had a bad experience this weekend where my new M11X seemed to loose its bind during a race. Receiver Batt was freshly charged, well, 1 day earlier.

I lost control of the car. One I checked the Receiver, the blue light was blinking??? I'm assuming this meant that the bind was lost...

Has anyone experienced this? Do I have a defective unit??

Awaiting for your replies!!!
Thx!!!

Funny you should post this.. I had a similar thing happen to me just last week.
totally lost control of my car, She was going round n round in circles. And the blue light was blinking. I've since tried to rebind, but nothing. Its' like it all most binds then nothing. :(

compatibility...

have some questions... does the new digital brushless servo work with the older receivers rx441ds (but of course not in the 2.5 ms response time) ?

also for the new receiver rx451 (no r), does it work with the older servos vz-b, vz, rz ?

many thanks

Well it might work once (the first time you plug it in) but we have killed 1 x 451 and 2 x 451r's running lipo directly into the reciever:mad::mad::mad:.

Still waiting for Sanwa to replace them (only been 4 months). We switched to LIFE and we had no more problems.

The lipo's were a 2,200 2 cell.

Cheers

Mark

Hey guys, just acquired a lipo for my Tx. I remember reading somewhere that you can plug a lipo in only one certain direction. I don't want to fry the transmitter, which way can i plug it in?

The positive is the middle pin. The 2 outer pins are negative.

Hi all, i just bought an M11x, great radio so far! :D

Just one question regarding channel mode settings: i use the new 451-R receiver coupled with a Savox 1251mg digital servo on steering and a SP gt2.1 esc on throttle.
Can i put the steering channel in SHR mode even if i don't use a Sanwa servo?
Does anyone have experience with savox servos and 451-R receiver?

Thanks!
