M11X loosing bind during a race??? anyone??

Guys:

Had a bad experience this weekend where my new M11X seemed to loose its bind during a race. Receiver Batt was freshly charged, well, 1 day earlier.

I lost control of the car. One I checked the Receiver, the blue light was blinking??? I'm assuming this meant that the bind was lost...

Has anyone experienced this? Do I have a defective unit??

Awaiting for your replies!!!
Thx!!!

nothing to date, youre the first to have prob like this here!

try to bind again see if that solves. perhaps u can try another Rx to confirm if the prob is from your radio.

I don't know why, but I have recently started to question and dislike my radio (DX3S) In my 10th EP Tourer it sometimes seems delayed from radio to car but never in my 10th Off-roaders or 8th EP Buggy.
I've been looking at the M11x but am worried about the weight in the long 8th scale Mains. Are they that bad?

Hello,

Im thinking of switching my old Futaba 3PK out for a M11X. But I have found different recievers and different reciever-specs all around.

One has a RX-451 reciever, and the shop says it can handle lipo.
One has a 92744 reciever, which Airtronics says can handle lipo.

So, my question is - is there any real difference? And can it really handle lipo?

technazi 08-17-2010 04:49 PM

Both the 92744 and the 92451 receivers can handle lipo direct (7.4v). It's just a matter if your servos can.

Has anyone tried the SRG servos especially the brushless?

But what about rx-451? As far as I can read in this thread, the 92451 is also called rx-451r.

both of them can handle lipos no problem. the 451r is just the newer update of the receiver the m11x came with originally. together with the new sanwa servos the 451r can give you again faster response times should you need them.

i have had the m11x with the r-451 receiver in use now for a few months and it worked like a charme so far.

You my friend have the worst luck when it comes to this problem, I would do as has been stated and rebind your rx and also go over all your plugs and be sure they are all secure and fully connected.

How is a M11 compared to a DX3R? Which one is better/faster?

There is no comparison. M11x outperforms the DX3R in every aspect.

I just orded the M11X radio. Is there anything I need to know before setting everything up with this radio?
My other radio is a DX3R. The 3100 rx antenna for the DX3R is replaceable. If need be, is the rx for the M11X replaceable? Does the rx antenna have to be fully extended from the rx box.
