Don't put 7.4v in the receiver! Can it handle it, yes, will it put more stress on the receiver, yes. I have only seen bad things when using 7.4v the electronics are just not ready yet.

sanwa said they can handle that and the temp max are 200f max too!!

And they told me it was water proof!

Come on guys the 7.4v will not make you go any faster.

a have try hv servo, the 7950th on 7,4 volt is pretty good!!
hv is the future but look like the rx need mebay a little update too!!

I tried lipo for about two weeks and hated it.
I switched to the Life packs and love them! I ran 2 quals and a 15min main with never charging the packs in either vehicle. When peaked they are 8.0v so i will power the 7.4v servos just fine. Plus there is no chance of explosion with the Life packs and no regulator needed.

killermmn 05-03-2010 06:44 PM

do life battery hold the charge good?

Not True.......... there is a huge difference when you are running the 7.4 volt servos...............

When you drop back to a LiFe battery (max 6.5 volt) you can see the difference in speed.

Plus they said te 451R could handle 7.4 Lipo direct thats why I bought it and paid the difference in price!!!

Binding older 2.4GHz Rx to the M11

I have heard you can bind the older 2.4GHz receivers to the M11X but I can't seem to get it to work. Has anyone done this? Any advice?
