Default Xerun 150

I have Xerun 150A and I wanna run it 2S lipo battery. So I has read there is some problem with 2S but that can be work with BEC. My question is what I have to do... where that BEC goes and how and what kind of BEC I buy?

You mean CC BEC Resources 10amp. Do I have to do is solder it in place as shown in picture what is on Castle's page. No other adjustments?

Correct, just wire it on as shown on the instructions and disconnect the red wire from your esc to the receiver. You can program the CC BEC to put out more volts, it gives more power to your servos but you will need to use the castle usb wire to program it from a computer. The default power output from the CC BEC is a little less than what the ESC puts out, so you may want to program it to maximize the power that your servo can handle, you will notice the difference from running it at stock settings, big improvement in performance after you bump up the power output. Ask around your area to see if someone already owns the usb link, your local hobby shop may even be able to program it for you.

Thx for answer. So I need this Castle Creations Castle Link USB Programmer Adapter which would cost amainhobbies 21.49$ to program BEC. And because I use Spektrum sr300 receiver and Spektrum s6040 I put BEC volts to 6V or can that be higher like 6.5V or something? Is there problem if it is too high?

Default 150a Went Nuclear

Does anybody have any experience dealing with the warranty on HW items?

After 3 packs my brand new HW 150a esc blew the caps. I came out of a corner in my sc10 4x4 and a small puff of smoke came out of the truck. I stopped and when I was looking it over a sizzling sound was coming from the esc. I turned it back on to see what if it was dead and another cap blew. It was like a mini nuke going off.

I sent back an XeRun 150A in the later part of last year, never heard anything.
Although it was sent in for repair, not warranty but either way, I never heard about it.

Default Cap

I just bought my first HW speedo, the 120a 1s with built in booster. It came with a cap. Should that be installed, as with Tekin speedos, or is it optional? The directions do not mention it. Thanks.
