Have to install it between battery terminals with correct polarity. It reduces ripple and increases punch.

any ideas as to why my xerun 80 amp will not go into manual program mode? I hold the set button down as per the instructions and the esc just continues to beep until i turn it off them back on. need to reset it so that i can have reverse.

I have a new Xerun 150A and Tekin Pro4 4600kv motor. So my problem is that when I put the sensor cable between the motor and esc and I'll put the power on the esc. Starts esc's light to flash green and red at the same time. What's wrong? The motor wiring is correctly installed and the sensor cable is securely in place. Is there motor sensor or cable broken? Or is it because I use 2s lipo battery?

Three possibilities- 1) Are you holding the switch long enough? It takes an irritatingly long time. 2) Did you calibrate the ESC to your TX/RX already? I think you have to do this first. 3) The switches are shite. I had to cut the one off my slash; the set button was intermittantly sticking down and switching my modes around at random.

I had the same problem. I could not fix it. Its a sensor malfunction. Tried with the HW 120A esc and the problem does not appear too much though.

Im having the same problem with my hw 120a it works fine till full thorttle with my pro-4 4600 then kicks out of sensored mode and the green light flashes, you can turn it off and on and its fine till full throttle or a load is put on? I wonder what the issue is ? This was with a brand new out of the box pro4. I have a d3 550 3.5 that works perfect with the same esc. COuld it be a sensor board issue with the tekin?

Default Noob question

Whats the difference in the esc 150 black version and the blue version?

Is this going to be a viable option instead of a mamba monster pro esc?

Its going to be hooked up to a 2200kv castle creations motor.

I still have the problem with Xerun 150A and Tekin pro 4 motor that green/red light flash when sensor cable is connected. But now I discovery something. When I take motor to hand and try test that it work fine. No green/red light flash. But when I put motor at place and I press throttle and pinions take catch and wheels spinning the green/red light start flashing. Do anyone something help that?
