3PM 2.4GHZ Receiver

Guys, just want to ask if you know...

if the receiver for the 3PK FASST "Futaba R603FS 3-Channel 2.4GHz FASST Receiver 3PK"

will work with 3PM FASST transmitter . I noted that the 3PM receiver is "Futaba R603FF 3-Channel 2.4GHz FASST Receiver 3PM" ... Cheers :)

Grizzle,

Yep, either RX works with either TX. The 603FF is the single antenna RX, the 603FS is the dual antenna RX. Both are the same aside from that.

I'll be keeping my 3pks because i race mini-z's also and i need the AM module.

James35 10-24-2007 09:41 AM

Yeah, I'm really surprised that their new flagship transmitter is not module based. There is no upgradeability and they are assuming that their current flavor of 2.4ghz modulation (Futaba's FASST) is going to the answer for years to come?

Um, well, yea!

the menu and program look exactly the same.

only thing i notice different is there is a 5point throttle curve. the 3pk has a 3 point curve.

but most people dont use this function anyway.

Any more news??????

catpig 11-08-2007 10:27 AM

$600 will have so much difference compare with 3pk or even the 3pk FASST

JVStrat 11-08-2007 10:36 AM

I really get a hard laugh at people who own 3PK's talking about other radio's being ugly.:lol::lol::lol::smile::smile:

I hope they make a stick version. I love my Futaba 3VCS and I don't think I'll be going back to pistol grip any time in the future.
