Squirrel,

I'm not 100% sure but I think there is not a provision for updates. I don't have the full details on the system yet.

Ryan,

Nope, no show for me. I'm chained to my desk for a while so I'm not going anywhere.

What?
Almost 600USD only for TX and RX.
Well, not only sharp's design it's not cool, nor the price.:weird:
I think still wait for DX3R it's not an embarassement!

Looks like you do not understand how Tower prices new items they haven't received. They will list the MFG retail price first and then once they are invoiced by the supplier they will post the "street" price which in this case should be under $400 or so.

Jonny,

What's the difference with the new 604 receiver that will come with the 4PK.
Also, is it safe to assume the original FASST receivers will work with the 4PK.
Thanks.

IMO, that would be a huge step backwards if it were not the case... :tire: :tire: :tire:

jon123,

RX should be slightly smaller and has the extra 4th channel.

The current RXs will work with the new TX.

rabidsquirrel 10-23-2007 11:17 AM

Sticker Shock!!!

Tower needs to advertise the 'street' price, if that's the case. I damn near had a heart attack when I saw $599 (600)!

Ryan,

Interesting that they didn't seem to design this next gen system to allow for software updates... Especially since it doesn't seem to allow for modular hardware updates - I.e. the 3PK series.

:weird:

duddy 10-23-2007 11:50 AM

JUST KEEP YOUR 3PK's ... im not going to be caught driving w/ one of those!:flaming:
