375, but officially or just rumours?
I can't see nothing

Just look up hobbyhobby.com and do a search.

Will see about the price when it comes out.

Hey all Futaba fans,

I wonder if i buy the 4PK, if i wont have problems because i live in Belgium.

I'm hearing these rumours that the 2.4Gig band will be illegal next year?

Also, i'm left handed, am i correct that the steering wheel can be mounted on the left side of the radio?

Thanks all, Michiel.

FrankW 11-18-2007 09:55 AM

Yes, the steering wheel can be mounted on the left.

Although I'm not 100% positive, but it seems unlikely that 2.4Ghz would be banned anywhere. There are too many commercial and industrial products that use 2.4Ghz and banning it would be economically impractical. Until I saw it in writing, I would only take it as idle rumor and not bother about it. Besides 2.4Ghz is the way R/C radios are going, we're even seeing them in RTRs. I'm sure it won't be very long until 27Mhz and 75 Mhz have become extinct... they're already antiquated.

I just tought about it, and what i am talking about is that some countries would ban 2.4Gig for RC hobbies only, so they can keep it for all the PC, phone, WiFi, ...

Atleast thats what is being said here and there.

Tought, opinions?

FrankW 11-26-2007 09:23 AM

2.4Ghz is a globally open band for consumer electronics. R/C radios are consumer electronics. It really doesn't matter what you have on that frequency band as long as they don't interfere with each other.

They can not ban 2.4Ghz radios at all then?

FrankW 11-27-2007 09:20 AM

Unless they ban all consumer electronics on 2.4Ghz (cell phones, microwaves, home phones, garage door openers, wireless security cameras, etc) then I don't see how it would be even remotely feasible.

It looks a lot like the Nomadio React. At least Nomadio has great support.:D

It may look like a Nomadio but i'm sure you wont have to send the first 4PK you buy back to the shop after about one hour it's been turned on because it will not bind and the screen stopped working altogether.:flaming:
+ the battery lasts like around 12 minutes on the darn thing.:flaming:

Talking about my React here.:weird::cry::confused::mad::eek:

Have a sensor and I don't have any problem's. Battery's last forever. Only charge them once a month.:D

I like this radio. It looks really unique. At Trackside, they are going to cost $600. So, yes street price is about $600. Tower Hobbies is accurate in this case.

I love my Sensor, it's going to take a lot for Futaba to win me back... Nomadio gave me a React but I don't use it much... I was looking at the 4PK specs hoping that there was a USB port and a program to do all my set up via computer and be able to back my settings up there... I guess I'm spoiled now :D

GP is showing late February now for arrival. Maybe the first batch sold out and that is when the second batch is expected?
