Man that sucks. Love my react and am happy with my Sensor. Guess I'll just run it until it dies.

Someone on the React forum (at the Nomadio site) did a mod so that the battery wouldn't drain when the battery is plugged in and the radio off. It voids the warrenty but thats a moot point now. Interestingly enough the Sensor doesn't have this problem.

We knew it was coming when they stopped support. I just wish they had been cool enough to release the source code for the Nomadio program so the community could continue its development.

Anyhow, I will hold on to mine until another company offers a software upgradable radio that also can act as a usb controller.

Can you use aftermarket wheels with the Sensor? My stock one broke at the screw. The KO wheel fits, but the travel stops are 180 degrees out. Any sources on the aluminium steering shaft replacement?

You can run the DSM receivers, you just need to have a computer handy...

Also... There's a guy making billet aluminum steering shafts for the Sensor, I finally broke mine and paypaled him $20 and don't have to ever worry about breaking it again...
Are these still available and from where?

Hey I saw you made contact with the guy from hand brothers off road. I got one from them and it is awesome. Also any futaba wheel will fit the shaft. I got an aftermarket aluminum one and it works great.

I tried making contact. Can you supply hand brothers details or does anyone have one available for sale?

it's such a shame nomadio is out of the r/c business. i used to own a nomadio and feel like their technology is one of the best if not THE best. i was hoping that they would take their technology and make higher quality fit/feel radio systems and smaller rx's. no glitches, no bind issues, true model management including bind, LIPO safe, 2.4GHZ FHSS, PC connectivity, telemetry, everything... the technology and creativity put in those radios were ahead of their time and in many ways still are. the only prob i had with those radios were the cheap feel and the big rx's. but the technology inside was friggin awesome.

I do not have their contact info any more. It was on Nomadio's forums but they erased those. Keep trying to get ahold of the guy from the other forum. They are a really nice piece. If I find anything out Ill post here for you.

Stupid question, but.....

They are no longer offering warranty services but has anyone offered to pay for the repairs needed for their equipment???

I have three recievers that have the steering channel out on them that I need to get replaced/fixed.

If Nomadio wont do it has anyone else found anybody that can do it???
