Nomadio

Since I'm sponsored by Nomadio I'm kinda biased (not really I bought my Sensor with my own money...)
I love my Sensor... I have not used a more comfortable radio... I have the buttons and switches all programed to do what I want to do with them... I have the React also (it was free
) and although it's faster and can run other brand receivers on the fly I like the Sensor...
I race 5th scale and you know all those features you though you'd never use, I use them...

I know there are, I've seen pictures posted on the Nomadio forum...
You can run the DSM receivers, you just need to have a computer handy...
Also... There's a guy making billet aluminum steering shafts for the Sensor, I finally broke mine and paypaled him $20 and don't have to ever worry about breaking it again...

Under Preferences you'll see Application, click on DSM Compatible. It will put the radio in a mode to communicate with the Spektrum receivers... In order to go back to Nomadio Transceivers you have to go back into RC Desktop and switch it...
Remember to send the settings to your Sensor to make the change... It's going to ask you if your are sure and it's beta, yadda yadda yadda...

You need to have the latest BETA RC Desktop installed on your computer. DSM support will NEVER be in a Non-Beta release (just the way it is...)

The ability to download, store and tweak settings from my pc, was what made me change.
What truely amazed me at first was the difference in speed and the increased smoothness of the steering feel, compared to my previoous 3pk (spektrum) - especially noticeable when racing largescale!
Still using 3.0 beta

I have had my Nomadio React for about 5 Months now. I really like it. It is so lite and super response time. I looked around a quite a bit before I bought it and for the price with the options of other high end radios but with a budget price. Bonus is being able to bind to DSM recievers. Flat out I would recomend it to anyone that is looking for a High end Radio but is on a tighter budget.

I had both the Sensor and React. I like both radios but I just couldn't drive very well with the React as the spring tension on the steering wheel was just not tight enough for me.
I like the Sensor best of the two and the large screen makes for easy reading at a quick glance. The only thing I wished was it had more memory and could switch from Nomadio Transceivers to DSM without needing to use the laptop all the time. Only other thing I would of liked to see what a charge jack which I think could of been a running change as I think they can do it pretty easily.
All in all never had any problems with them and would think of a Sensor down the road if a few changes where made. For now I will stick to my 3PK but like I said nothing bad to say about Nomadio as I would buy another one if I came across a good deal. Overall very nice radios.
