I don't car for steering that uses a lightweight spring as I want it harder to turn as I drive better that way. |
I am looking at possibly upgrading to a Nomadio system, with my eyes right now on a used sensor system. I need to know a few things first:
1. Exactly what is included when you get it NIB? (special cables, etc) 2. Is there running changes I should know about? Mainly would like the functionality to see what battery voltage is since I do brushless / lipo setup for 1/8 scale and 1/10. |
You can buy just the radio or the package which includes Transmitter, Rechargeable NiMH Batteries, Charger,Speed(tach) sensor, temperature sensor, voltage sensor, receiver, PC cable and CD-ROM. If there are any new updates you can hook up to the computer and download them. Very nice radio system, you won't be disappointed. There are no servos included also.

2 sensors and loving it for 2 years everything from 1/8 buggy to 1/18 buggy and 1/12 spek and tranceiver
come to the darkside :deathstar my customer service history has been awsome :cool::cool::cool: |
I'm also loving my sensor, even if I did buy it 2nd hand without the cable and cd. It come with 3 receivers and all the bits for the telementry side of it. I have ony had one problem with it and that has been during a race meet the radio unbinds from the receiver and won't bind back again. Replace the receiver with one of the others and it binds again, but will unbind again at a latter date. This has now occured to all the receivers, yet for some reason, even though they refused to bind before, after a week or two, I can get them to bind together again:mad:
Has anyone else had a problem like this and if so, did you overcome it? I finally took the plunge and bought a new receiver, but at nearly the cost of a new DX3R, I am starting to wonder if it was a mistake buying another receiver. As I don't have a cable for this Sensor, will any USB cable work to see if unit needs a update and is the software available for download (I have been lazy and haven't checked the site out for software downloads due to no cable) Apart from the receiver problems, I love the radio as it just feels "right" to hold |

I want to hook up the speed sensor and need some help I want to use it on my Losi 8-t and need advise where to mount it
|
Anyone^^^^:)

your best bet would probably be somewhere on the center diff cup. with the sensor mounted on the top plate of the center diff
if you can dremel a hole in a non important place and epoxy the two magnets in place that would be best the magnets have to be exactly across from each other stick the two together and mark the side facing outwards with black marker.. the two black sides are the sides you want facing the sensor |
Thank you I will take a look and see what I can do, Also I was wondering if that one guy from the nomadio support forum still makes the billet steering shafts?
Thanks, dan |

I too am anxiously awaiting some updated hardware from Nomadio; however, being a 22 year (and counting) member of the US Air Force, I will gladly wait for my work toys to be fully operational and fielded before my leisure toys are. Just my perspective... |
I'm sorry, call me what you will. I cannot accept that answer anymore. They should of spun off the hobby division as its own company versus trying to switch everything to the Military-Industrial complex project.
Now we are dealing with with 80% of the items on Tower being listed as discontinued (by Tower from low sales or Nomadio unknown yet). This includes one of the versions of the React and Transceivers. I love my React. But Im really worried about any future support for it with updated software. One of the big drawing points to the Nomadio line. Will I have ended up with a $200+ PC Joystick? |
I'm not sure how there customer service is but I have a issue with my transceiver do you guys think nomadio will fix it and send it back pretty quick? I hope they will.
|
I picked up a React system with 2 tranceivers for a good price. Feels pretty good, and I can't believe how big the manual is! :weird:

Vary fast. All depends on where you are. Wes |
