I’ve wired up 2 different brand new tekin rs pro black editions , to 3 different used Sanwa 493’s and a 1up racing fh5 receiver , all 4 don’t power up and both of the tekin esc’s were blinking all lights simultaneously! 4 bad receivers ?? I don’t think it’s a cold solder joint , so what am I missing ??

What does a multimeter tell you about the BEC output voltage on the ESC's receiver plug?

Getting 5.95 v , I have the esc set at 6.0v.

Changed the esc setting to 7.4 and it’s putting out 7.99 . Where do I look now ??

Steerservo is working? If not try to rebind the receivers.

And did you calibrate the ESC's?

yea , they are plugged in correctly, I even pulled a 482 off of another car and I didn’t get power to that receiver either . Geez , what are the chances of getting 2 rs pro black editions within a week of each other and they are both bad ?

Not sure I remember correctly, but I think when the receivers are no yet bound to the radio, he light stays out (I could be wrong about this, though). Have you tried going to the binding procedure nonetheless?

can’t bind , no power was going to the receiver , so , I opened up a new gen3 stock spec , wired it up and connected it to all 4 of the receivers and I had power , the car is a go . Just my luck , 2 rs pro be’s , 1 from tekin and one from a eBay distributor, both bad .

I don't see how the receiver is failing to be powered when you already checked that the BEC is providing voltage to the plug. Can you show where you measured and how it's plugged in?

Connectors are good on both . Both are brand new . Just got the one on Friday from tekin.

Every one of my tc’s has this 13.5 setup with the rs pro black edition, except for one that is mod . The only thing I can figure is the esc’s !?
