Default Internal Vs External antenna receivers?

Hey guys, I’m just about done with my 1st 1/5 scale brushless losi 5t!! I have a Sanwa MT 44 and I am skeptical about putting the Internal antenna RX 482 In it.. i use the same receiver in my 1/8 scale stuff & never had an issue with range.. being that this is a 1/5 scale i feel an external antenna is merited? Do you think an external antenna reciever has noticeably longer range?

thanns in advance

External. But you can heat the tube, and fold it over so it doesn't leave the body.

The no antenna Rx's are for indoors.

I’ll list it and see if someone wants to swap with me.

Any basic antenna knowledge:
When the wire antenna is faced up it will have the same receiving strength from all sides. When layed down you will create a direction side sensitive.
