I have two fgr4s and the Evo board, they all updated fine and now bind/operate as expected. My question was when I was done with the TX flash, it will tell you the RF section of the radio needs updating. It informed me that what I had already (from .85) was a higher version number, but did not offer any other info, like what RF numbers I had. I went with what the .93 update was trying to install. my RF Library is reporting 3.0. again, everything works fine, just found it odd it would want to install a lower RF library (and I let it). Since everything works and my RF isnt bricked, saying yes to the operation was the right thing to go.

In order to update my Evo board, I had to hold the button for like 20 seconds until i got the 3 slow flashes. From there, I could send the RX update from my PC (through the TX connected to USB). Did you successfully update the GMR that way?

you didn't get a time out message in the RX update app did you? I did a few times, but ultimately got to 100% and it finished. then I could bind, after changing to the protocol that MZ uses. (on the Evo board). In all, quite a messy process! It took me over an hour to get one TX and 3 rx's to work again. Since everything worked fine before, I'm not it was worth it.

I've used my NB4 since July 2020. Several receivers for RC-auto and robots updated successfully: FGr4 v.2 (2 pcs), FGr4P, FTr10. Everything works quite well.
For now, I fixed a couple receivers(FGr4, FTr10) and NB4 itself to get more RF-power (about +7 db up). Just Great - more reliable connection, remote and telemetry distance!
Can tell you about via personal message, if anyone interested.
Suppose, Flysky NB4 - one of the best for RC-auto (IMHO)!

when you update to the .93 firmware once it is done installing on transmitter it will give a prompt that it has to update RF Firmware. when you hit ok ok the transmitter it will reboot and it does it automatically.
