I just got my X6 in the mail yesterday. This little thing is an absolute beast! But I had a question....

All of the Junsi software I've found (namely the firmware updater) is being marked as malicious in Windows 10... and I can't really tell if it's legitimate or simply because it's unsigned. Has anyone recently downloaded and installed? My X6 is on 2.0.3 and I want to update to 2.0.4 to take advantage of a 10a discharge.

you can discharge at 30 amps if you use a car battery as your power source, if you want to use the discharging bank you need the 2.0.4

It is a false positive, you should be safe.

I tried last night to update my charger but every time I went to upload the display would shut off. The only way to get it to come back on I would have to pull the power and it would reset. Not sure were to go with this and looking for some input.

Try doing the upgrade via a SD card instead. I had a similar problem and the SD card upgrade worked fine.

Is there a way to use the Extra discharge feature for a 4s pack? I don't want a lot but I would like to have the ability to discharge over the 30w allowed by the charger. I've built some resistor banks for my 2s packs but for some reason it won't do the extra discharge feature through a 4s pack. I'm using a .5 ohm 200w resistor. All I really want from the 4s is like 4-5 amps. When I set it to 5A the charger will hit it for a few seconds then the 30w safety limit kicks in and wont allow it.

Use a fully charge 3s pack or 12 volt supply to power the charger while updating.

I see. I had the same issue (4-5 attempts) updating mine but i was using a 3S pack that wasn't charged. I then charged the pack and final voltage was 12.6v and repeated and it immediately updated. I was relieved as i thought my charger was bad.

here it is you can use servo tape and tape it to the power supply and velcro secure it to the charger when done remove the charger and the stand closes on top of the power supply
mushroomed and Daffs like this.
