I knew what you meant, I was just being a smart azz. You know I'm just there for the good time, but I also want to run the track with a full field. I myself am working with a STC and will be out there this season (when I am not flying).

Can anyone post a parts house for 1:5 scale that would accommodate common to all brand parts such as tires/wheels, bodies, and the like (God I hope it's not in Germany!)

I wonder if the new (to me) Fusion rattle can paint that I see in WalMart would be suitable for us to use on bodies. It bonds to plastics (IE; Fusion)...Chris Green? Also, Robert gave me a number for Victor at FG, but it doesn't work. Any help? As a side note, I hope our 1:5 scale group grows enough to be worthwhile. I would think between Wagner and Blue Diamond track time shouldn't be the issue. Both are under an hour from most of us.

I tried that Fusion paint and it eventually cracked and chipped away. So my experience was not good.

I might as well get direct deposit here!
Just picked up a HARM Formula car to round out the 1:5 scale classes that should take me awhile to sort out. Between Wagner, Blue Diamond, and 301 there is quite a lot of worth to this size racing. I've read posts of folks driving up from Florida to these tracks for a day or two of racing. That couldn't hurt Wagner in the least!!

Ed, sent you a text about the fluid.....
Congrats on the F1 car you just got.

BTW, the 301 track closed a few years ago.

Post photos of the new cars

I'm sorry to read that the 301 had closed, as it looked VERY good for our scale cars. I don't get texts, and have the text ability turned off on the phone,LOL! I used the mineral based fluid I bought from the bike shop, and it worked very well, thanks. Found a couple minor leaks (master lid gasket on one master, and hose union to a 90% which I have a new one). The Sx3 came with a good 4 door Acura body that could use a new front body section, but it's a body out of production . I have an M3 body coming from Victor that between the two bodies I believe I can run GT (2 door BMW body), and STC with the 4 door Acura TL body. That car is just about ready for a day at the track. The Formula is more of a project and may take awhile to get it prepped for the track. I'll post some pics through the week here. How 'bout you guys displaying some pics of YOUR rides?
I took the Sx3 to Family Hobbies tonight for a "safety check", and we found a broken shock shaft,LOL! Victor?...Victor?,LOL!
