does anyone have a 13.5T rubber tire Final Drive Ratio suggestion? I'm thinking of starting at 4.5.

This gearing was at The Gate which had a longer back straight. Based upon that I would recommend probably starting at a 60-62mm roll for 360.

There you go again with metric rollout on 12th scale.

You planning on the Jan. Jam Mike?

That should work weill for a SP motor, a bit less pinion for a hacker or novak.

With the difference in weight and the reduced voltage, the rules for 1/12 will have to be rewritten. Minimum weight will have to change (again) and the definition of stock will be different.
Actually, one of the things that has me excited about the new 3.7 single cell format is that the definition of stock DOESN"T have to be different... We'll mostly be running the 3.7 cell with 13.5's. Let's just agree not to call that "stock". A slower, entry level 3.7/17.5 class could be the entry for a new generation of 1/12 scale enthusiasts. Call this slower class "stock" just to keep in line with every other stock class on the books, call the 13.5's "superstock" like all the other classes, and anything beyond 13.5 call it mod.

1/12 hasn't had a true entry level class for years... it could happen... The only difference for most of us who race stock 1/12 now is that our class will have a different name.

And to think diluting classes will decrease attendance.
