I was hoping I could make it up that way, but it's just not going to work out for me. If it was the following weekend, I would be all over it. Oh well, maybe next year.

I just confirmed with the Sales Manager at International Auto that we are going to have a real life size Mini on display on the lawn out in front of Trackside to help us promo this event.

So we have a real Mini out side and Hooter's girls inside.

Let the Mini racing begin.

Hey, that's better than a Mini on the inside and Hooters on the outside.

Or is it???

Now did you get the special deal for the free one year lease of the mini if you win the Mayhem race??

Now we'll have Mini Hooters to promo the event!!

Now back to more wholesome ideas.

If I have learned nothing else from Carl it's this...

Mini Hooters are bad....

But a Hooters Mini is pretty cool

Sorry Man

I did not get the free lease deal, but if one of you drivers would like to purchase the real Mini at the end of the event it would be much easier to get them to display another one next year.

Any word yet on how many racers have signed up? With 50+ Mini entries at the Trackside TCS (and I think I was the only guy who flew in from out of town for that class), this should be GINORMOUS!!!

I will be send my money out later today.
I have to replace a couple of my stick packs, I was wondering what battery would be good to go with?
Thank you for the help

Does anyone know if Trackside will be placing an order to Tamiya before the race?

EP4300 have great voltage, but do weigh a bit more than 3300's . I'm probably going to use the orion 3300 stick packs I had to buy for TCS Nationals (2 packs were $40 total).

Yes, get your order in now. Tamiya is sometimes a bit slow on getting out the orders, so the sooner the better.

Hey, where's your entry form - we need responses!! I know you're coming.

Default ENTRIES NEEDED ASAP

Hey folks:

Still waiting for all those entires to pour in from the many people who have expressed interest in coming to this event. We need to preorder and pre tech all the motors, and silver cans are not something that is routinely stocked in quantity at trackside (you know, the older the better the silver can!), so WE NEED YOUR ENTRIES NOW! You all want us to try and have all the parts you might need/break, so WE NEED YOUR COMMITTMENTS NOW!!

Even a PM to me with a "yes I'm coming" would be greatly appreciated.

I should have taken care of this the last time I was at Trackside. I will be stopping by the track on my way home from up north on the 28th to pick up some parts and drop off my entry.

Don't worry, my pit crew and I will be there.
