Yessir! They just arrived so I zipped over to my pal Mick's (Dekelz.com) place and we shot a couple right away. We have a shot of the body by itself and a side by side comparison shot of the MD and HD bodies. Here's the link to the comparison shot. The other photo is in the online store.

I never really appreciated the difference between the two. The rear wing is longer as well as a steeper rake. The nose is quite obvious.

Default Traction compound Suncreen

Hi guys, I'm confused about which type of sunscreen to use as a traction compound. This weekend I tried it and I got some funny looks when I whipped out a bottle of Hawaiian tropic. Some of the guys said it should be the creamy white stuff not the semi transparent oily stuff. Others said the opposite. I used the semi transparent oily stuff and didn't see much difference either way. So I stuck with straight paragon.

How does track temperature affect tire selection? It was in the high 90's degree f this weekend with a track temperature of 120 degree f. I ran gray's on all 4 corners on a new asphalt track.

Thanks

You want the cheap, runny white stuff....(damn that just sounded wrong...)

Sorry for the OT:

I've decided to sell my 10L2. It has the chassis dremeled out to let you run a lipo pack down one side and tape it in. No electronics but will include a standard servo. Also comes with extra t-bars, left side clamping hubs, IRS center shock spring set, and Pugeot 905B Med-Downforce body. Car is in great shape, handles extremely well, and is VERY fast. Looking to get $125+shipping OBO. Pics will be up on the for sale section later tonight. PM for details or to make an offer.

-James

what sound wrong is you selling you car. I might have to have a JA car ready to go for you so you can still race with us.

I just wanted to share this cool action shot of my car during wednesday night practice.
The picture was shot by my racing buddy Bram with his new digital camera (canon 400D).

Very Cool Picture!

How much extension can you get (or run) on the rear wing above the body?

Thanks to Gilligan - there are 5 HD Pew Joe's heading to Colorado

I use about 8 mm of extension beyond the rear wing, with a very small upright lip at the end.
However, Bram uses about 14mm extension on the same body with the same chassis, which also works very well to make the car feel a little more precise.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to run my Killer Korally on our larger gas track that we run 1/8 scale on later this summer, so I'll get the adjustable wing out and see how it works!

Hey Richard. Where are you racing now-a-days? Anything other than oval action out there? I still have all my stuff. Haven't touched it in two years or so.

Hi guys, I have been given a Associated Pro10 car to use from one of my club mates and was wandering what mmpr to use for 9 and 10 turn motors (with 6 cell packs). I am really looking forward to giving it a go and expecting HUGE speed from it! Cheers guys, Chris.
