Greetings from the west coast. I was wondering if anyone could lend me a hand figuring out how to get my old pan car up and running. I am going to need a new rear axle and hubs. I believe the car is an 1/10 Agitator. Nobody out here in San Diego area sells anything for pan cars. Any help would be apprecited. The pic quality isn't very good sorry.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

faster u fool:
I have recently in stock the worlds supply of IRS 2101 wide pan axles. $23.00
I have in stock Hyperdrive Red wide pan right hand hubs (36 mm) flange to flange.
I have in stock Hyperdrive Red 1/2 inch left hubs or CRC Red 3/4 inch left hand hubs.
I also have some KSG red axle spacer sets that include 4 spacers of different widths. Expect a package deal to appear on the site maybe tomorrow.

Ok. Sounds great. I think when I get off duty tommorrow I will try and pull the rear axle assembly apart and take pics with measurements..This way we can see what size the hubs are and axle length ect. Hope to hear from you then.

To make a wide pan rear end
You have some options.

I, On the CRC Gen X-10 You can get two Hub Extensions. I sell these by the each for flexibility. This is the highest rotational inertia route. Here is a link to the part.

http://www.stranahan-rc.com/Catalog_i11189782.html?catId=362901

Since the Associated RC10L was made CRC has moved their pod to the left about 4mm for better motor balance as has associated in the L3T. Thus the CRC Gen X 10 requires the use of at least one hub extension on the right hand hub to make a custom 40 mm wide flange to flange hub. This hub is not available elsewhere except in this extended configuration to my knowlege. This avoids the use of extended pinions which eat pinion side motor bearings.

This is how I like to widen the Gen X 10. Get One hub extension, Get the IRS 2101 wide pan axle, Get KSG 2120R red aluminum spacer set, use your existing 3/4 inch left hand hub. You can select these as a package at a discounted price with this link.

http://www.stranahan-rc.com/Catalog_i11640356.html?catId=362564

If you have an old wide pan or RC10L type pan and would like to widen it or just replace the parts, you can use a wide pan right hand hub 36 mm flange to flange right hand hub in red aluminum by Hyperdrive or CRC (also used for oval offset pod setups). You can select those items from the same package deal above.

There is a 1.25 inch IRS left side hub available but only in natural aluminum color from IRS-racing.com. That is an option on the left side to reduce the number of spacers but it increases the rotational inertia a bit.

I get no image when I open your PDF file. I have not seen a pan car axle without the left side diff flange pinned or glued in place. The axles that are for sale all have this flange.

Faster U fool. If nothing is broken then all I would get is a 3/4 inch left hand double clamp hub. Works a ton better than the setscrew model you have, an IRS silver 3/4 hub would be a good choice.

If you want all new stuf, You need a SS length axle axle with pinned diff flange, a 200 mm cars right hand hub, about 1 inch flange to flange, and a mathching red 3/4 left side double clamp hub to be used with your spacer. I have the CRC stuff available in Red Aluminum.

I was going to get a left hand hub only, but my brother had glued it and the glue seeped into the hub and glued it to the axle so it's no good either. Are the axles a one size type of deal and are the pinned flanges moveable on the axle?

Ok John could you put me together a pkg. left and right hub, axle, and front and rear tires. I used to use black dot compound don't know if that is still a common deal. It was a hard compound for the street. Also I would like to find a chevy nascar body of some sort. trying to put her back together the way I raced it back in the 90's.

Thanks Chris.
