Looks very nice, but look doesn't describe the performance. I am sure it is not conventional inside. Congratulation Dennice. I am realy happy you got yours and we can pushh the thing forward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Motorman 02-06-2004 11:08 AM

For those who have run hand tuned RTU's expect the exact same performance or better at very competitive price. If you've owned an RTU you know exactly what it will look like inside. Expect NS level power

Motorman 02-06-2004 11:11 AM

There will be a 3 port, 6 port,10 port available over time with standard and sg cranks and slide or rotary carbs.

Hey Dennis, If you want to post larger pictures, I can host a limited # for you. [email protected]

Francis M. 02-06-2004 12:22 PM

denis i'm glad to finally see one. i'm sure brad and tenessee will
be happy also. is that the only sample or did david and RD send
more for test purposes. Also the Carb looks good.

Motorman 02-06-2004 07:54 PM

Well there are 2. I will be having some of the parts tested soon like starting tomorrow. There are still some major changes we need to do but its comming along well. The carb is excellent I could not ask for better. The one I tested last summer was awesome.
Thanks troy I'll just let it roll for the moment. I'll take you up when the final marketing pictures are done.

RoyU 02-06-2004 08:36 PM

Dennis, how much will they cost?

Motorman 02-06-2004 08:53 PM

I can't give you an exact number and I don't want to stick my foot in my mouth so I will be very generic It will be a little more than an Serio and quite a bit less than an NS12. I would bet you could almost buy a pair for what a Novamax costs.

CHUCKMANDO 02-06-2004 09:19 PM

Dennis, good to here. I just missed out when you stopped selling to the public a while back. Looking foward to trying yours and Eds work too.

dino.tw 02-08-2004 07:49 AM

Good luck,Dennis.:)

Motorman 02-08-2004 09:15 AM

Thanks dino hope it goes as well as your sts line.

Motorman 02-08-2004 09:16 AM

Thanks to the guys at daltonshop for their help recently. Goldfinger are you guys an RD dealer?

Motorman 02-08-2004 12:18 PM

Testing of the prototype #2 went well today. I can say it is exceeding my wildest expectations. It is really torquey and revs bigtime and it tunes like an OS. If the weather holds out I'll try to get some video available by next weekend of some runs of the prototype so you can see for yourself. An interesting thing is the engine has better compression when its hot than cold. Most engines tend to go the other way. The piston expansion rate is working very well.

PRO RS4 02-08-2004 04:52 PM

Dennis,

Are you going to have replacement piston, sleve and rods for thouse engines.?

No problem at all.. that is a good choice Dennis, considering they were expanding their product range....

As for the RD, you mean RD Logics ?
We would love too...

RoyU 02-08-2004 08:20 PM

Its great to know you're testing is going well:smile:
I'm curious to know which engine are you testing, 3, 6, or 10 port engine?

Motorman 02-08-2004 08:26 PM

3 and 6
actually I have tested 3,5,6,8 and 10 configurations
and a 15 size 3 and 10 configuration.

theres also been alot of parts mix and matchin and testing going on. there are some real franken motors down in the shop.

RoyU 02-08-2004 08:34 PM

Cool, can't wait to get any one of them. Does the carb have 2 or 3 needles? Couldn't tell from the pictures
Also, I picked up a NSR12S5 engine and I was wondering if ysou could tell me if its a long or short stroke engine and there's also an "L3" stamped on the head, do you know what it stands for. I know this your thread, but if you don't mind.
Thanks Roy

That's what I really really want to know too!

Motorman 02-09-2004 06:47 PM

RayJ 02-09-2004 07:29 PM

New Motor.

Congrats on getting your first production models! I now if it was me I would be beside myself with no sleep! From the short time that I've known you, you've always been helpful for the newbies to nitro racing like myself. I know you will make a great product, and when they come to market I look forward to putting a little spank to the overpriced stuff that's already out there!

raffaelli 02-09-2004 10:18 PM

When do we stand in line for the 5 port .12 open?

Francis M. 02-10-2004 08:33 AM

Hey Francis not speaking for Dennis, but I don't believe so. I cannot wait to run these motors.........and it won't be long now. They have some pretty cool stuff inside, thats all I can say for now.

Francis M. 02-10-2004 09:55 AM

cool i know denis won't jump on board or put his name on it
if the quality is not to his liking. Looks like your gonna have
a nice year with a new car and power to go with it.

Motorman 02-10-2004 01:59 PM

I've been using your tips and suggestions here in deep down south Peru for a couple of years with great success. I wonder how can I get on the list of drivers who can have one of your engines whe available.
