Hi Ed,
Just a curiuous question, engine flamed out several time, hence took it apart. The big end of crank and conrod have worn away. Not much compression as the piston have worn away ( could push the piston all the way to the top !!! ( measured the piston and sleeve and compared it to a new one !!). Replaced conrod and piston from another unsed NSR, but using the original BRB sleeve....very tight fit, hence have to run in engine again !!!..........finally the question is that i am 100% sure the piston have worn away, so what is the original diameter for the sleeve as i want to compared how much the sleeve have worn.........by the way, this BRB set have been through more than 6 gallons !!!!
Thanks
philip
p.s acquired one of Green engine...placed the sleeve into that !!!

Hey Ed, I've been reading through you thread. Your engines and p/s kits sound very interestig. What I've been running is an RB x-12 Rody. It ran strong, but I geard the crap out of it and it got tired at the end of the year. My question(s) to you, and to anybody else are.
Do you have a p/s kit for the RB?
Will the PS12 fit in a V one rrr?
Also, which one will give me the better "edge"?
Thank you for your help,
Tenderfoot.

On your question what is sleeve diameter-t is very difficult to answer-every single set is manualy made and set. so it is very possible that some of them smaller some of them bigger, but any of them will not be bigger then it is allowed by rulls. I don't belive that sleeve has worn out-we use tangsten chrome and it is good for at list 4-5 pistons before it will loose its geometry. I personaly don't think any other piston material will work with my sleeves-we made psitons prperties to mutch slleve properties, but you can try and please let me know results.
Best regards
Edward
