As long as it was 1st handed from factory.
It means you have to produce it yourself..?
(You got PM)

The engine is produced in a factory and will be sold stock. According to your rules it definately should be fine.

the compression for ts engine is really good. i had some difficulty
cranking-up the engine the first time.

does anyone in ts forum know the standard needle setting for ts
engine. the instruction book do not tell us ts.

0.3 mm silver aluminum shim comes stock with the engine. I ran it like that for a while with 25% nitro and no. 6 plug.

However later on I added 0.1 mm shim onto the engine to make it 0.4 mm.

I would think that either 0.3 or 0.4 mm should not matter. Just listen to the engine and if it isn't complaining or does not sound strange or does not have any pitting on the piston surface, then I suggest to leave it as it is.

I think any Nova based new engine would be difficult.

Just one advise, seems like the Novamax likes rich bottom, I have tuned a few of these and if you let the bottom rich it will be very smooth and with a powerful bottom to mid grun!
