[QUOTE=Roelof;15253495]Yes, Novarossi does set a tight head clearance not giving enough room to set the tuning on the lean side if you want to. For sure when running long straights it can be harmfull for the glowplug.[/QUOTE
did you get to play with this new one yet? wondering what the changes are from the mito ?

thanks dj, sorry one last question, we don't often get you on here so we need to pick your brain as much as possible !! lol
dj you went with the 6 fin manifold. I know the track was pretty open and a lot on power so what were you looking for with the long manifold, better bottom, med, top, overall power, or better run time.... thanks again

I used the medium header cause it gave me better mileage and better mid range power. The short header was more rpm pull, but less infield power. It was also more sensitive on the tune. I tried them both.

I tried to replace bearings in my mito .21. The rear bearing I replaced with a steel bearing, 16001. However I seems to be to wide, as the crankshaft don’t align with the groove and I can’t get the rod in.
I dont have the bearing I removed with me, so I can’t compare them now, but the manual says 16001 is correct. It should fit right?

Do you have a normal Mito or a C-version?
Normal Mito:

C-version:

The difference is the dam inside the crankcase that needs a smaller inner race to fit.

There are no differenses in dimensions between the 2 bearings
Maybe you have a wrong head or the information is wrong.
An old topic of me.
Placing cheap "normal" bearings in a Virtus
You must see it on the old bearing that the inner ring is at one side smaller than the outside ring, or else you can see it in the crankcase that around the hole there is a dam.

If that is the case you need bearing 16006

Thank you! Is there no steel version of the 16006?
edit: looks like I can use 16009 - https://store.novarossi.it/product/o145x26x57x47mm/
