Does anyone know where I can purchase a 35plus Piston.
On the Novarossi website it has its own part#06008, so can it can be ordered/purchased by itself? |
Coming back from a hiatus and my motor shoppin(.21) and came across the LC09 engine at a decent price and was hoping someone could provide some feedback on it before I purchase.

Flash PT .12 Stock Shims
The first Flash I bought came with a single .30 mm (aluminum) shim, which is shown in the exploded view that came with it. The second Flash that I just recently bought came with three .15 mm (copper) shims. Is this common?

Just broke in my kappo rally! Initial thoughts are WOW! Great performance at an amazing price. 9886 pipe and 7 plug... Texas heat and humidity... break in went quick and well, tune was quick and easy.... I was going to use this as my back up... but I think this motor will be my go to... gonna order another one for my back up and keep the flash rally for the longer tracks... happy happy happy .

Wanting to buy some plugs (c6tgf, c7tgf, etc), and noticed on ebay the same plugs come in either a black, gold or blue packet.
I know nova had some issues with some plugs a while back, so which of these packets are the most current (freshest) ones? Thanks. |
suggest to buy exceed or os instead. much more reliable. they never dropped a filament for the past few years even they were burnt.

Blue packages are the new plugs. They seem to work fine.

After seeing the car pictures of the top Novarossi drivers at the recent 1/8th Euros in England, I noticed they were all using the Keep on engine, rather than the new Vir-tus engine.
I thought the Vir-tus was faster and had better run time than the Keep On. Look at the attached pictures. Does anyone know why? |

The simple answer is the Keep-On is still a great engine and if you like it, continue to use it.
Here in the USA, Morganti & Desoto Jr are now using the Virtus 100% of the time. They prefer it. I think DJ is still using/testing both. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with either engine. |
Probably the milage of 5 minutes on the 16% fuel is making the choice.

What on earth did i do wrong ??
