News to me, and certainly fantastic news for those who are using Nova plugs.

Stick with Nova plugs. You'll damage the threads when you use other plugs. If you want a colder plug try a C7GTF or C8TGH. The C8TGH is a very tough plug and it should never blow in a .12.
Seems that I have a bit of more power. |

hi...for the tuned version keep on engine it is indicated in the manual for the break in/running in procedure to run it for 30 minutes - 15000/20000 rpm . does this mean after that session i can proceed to race tuned the engine. or do i need to carry on for few more tanks. thanks

Barry Ng and I have used this engine break-in method on Nova, ORCAN and RB engines with very good results for the past 6 months. It is also the easiest method I know of.

I've started looking into 1/10 tourers and pricing up cost to likely amount of usage. After engine recommendations just for club level racing at most?
Thanks, Michael. |
The N12T1 is a very affordable engine with enough performance for clublevel. Other good choices are the LL3 and the 353, for sure the 353 if you buy an older version you will have a very good affordable engine for clublevel

The $225 price on the 353 is the range I'm looking in, maybe just over. Thank you.
