You wanna loose weight? The 1st thing is try to loose rotating mass, I already have lost 20 gram with the clutch and brakedisc and that is a lot that close to the source. 1 gram on the clutch is like 5 gram at the wheels maybe I will go with just the backplate screws and leave the head screws alone. Thanks again. BM |

Steel screws never broke off for engine mounting purpose. They just wear out at the head tip. |

Roma .25
Hey guys, I have a Roma 25 coming this Thursday and I'm trying to find a review on it..I am really struggling to find one anywhere. I'm really excited about this engine and would love to read someone else's report on it. Also I would like to know the preferred break in process for the novas. I believe the heat cycle will be the answer. As I have done my last four motors this way.
Thanks in advance to any replies and I hope that I hear from someone with a Roma as well. |

Got a chance to test out my Keep on vs my pt this weekend @ Fort Myers
Almost tq'ed the 1st rd with the pt just got spinned out by another driver did 33 laps 7:02 qualified 2nd then in the 4th rd went with the keep on got a bit more faster made 1 mistake but still got the Tq 34 laps 7:09 Both motors ran great the pt seemed to have a bit more top The Keep on had more bottom but felt the same to compare top end all in all you can't go wrong either way |
I'm very satisfied with the 2015 pipe in overall. The coming race for me is on a small slow track with couple of very slow corners.
Tested with different things last weekend and wasn't so pleased with the car performance. (having problems with the low end torq & low end needle settings..) What do you think about the 2052 pipe?? will it give me more bottom?? The fuel consumption is no problem. And yes, with 35PLUS21 engine that is. -X- |
