35+21 Is prob the best option, I am not so crazy about the smaller bigend on conrod with the Cordoba engines.

The newest Cordobas have the big rod end.

Don't waste your time on nova plugs just get the Rb plugs.

Nova plugs are junk these days. Sirio plugs are my favorite. Going to try the new MaxPower plugs soon.

The MAX plug is a GRP plug, if it is the old plug then it is a very good plug, if it is the one from just before the fire it is junk. We have yet to try some new plugs of the restarted production.

Regarding rhe RB, they have the same body an package of a Novarossi, I think the wire will be the same as well or has RB made some changes?

Yes, we have also good results with Sirio and OS plugs

According to a former importer of RB, the plugs are identical to Novas except being about 1 range colder so an RB 7 is like a Nova 8. Don't know if that is really true or not but he was a pretty reliable source.

OS used to be great plugs but I hear the latest batches have the same problem as the Novas. Haven't run them in a while myself though so I could be wrong.

Sirios and old GRPs are known to be fantastic. I'm hoping the MaxPower plugs are the same as the old GRPs but again, don't know yet. After the Nats I can give you all a full report on them.

Anyone know where I can get Sirio 7's in the states? Epic doesn't have them. :flaming:

Sirio plugs fit nova engine perfectly?
If that's the case, can I use orion plugs? Since orion alpha is sirio based...

I'm surprised no one has mentioned O'Donnell plugs.

In my opinion, they are best out there!

Yes, they fit fine.

@wingracer,

is the heat range of Nova and Sirio plugs comparable? A Sirio 7 runs lika a Nova 7? Thanks!

Yes only better. Maybe just a tic colder than a Nova. I'm telling you, Nova plugs made in the last 1 1/2 years or more are junk. They used to be fantastic but not anymore.

I'm going to have to give the OD plugs a shot. Everyone that runs them says they are great but they are almost all off road guys.

Roelof 05-11-2010 09:08 AM

I believe the O'Donnell plugs are made by Merlin:

We have tryed some and I must say they seem to work verry well.
