Just to make sure when you mean 6 tanks, is that 6 of the 150cc tank on the breakin bench or is that 6 75cc tanks like on the car because the tank is 150cc on the bench. And wouldn't WOT put alot of stress on the conrod?
Or you can add pure castor to the fuel you normally use. 50cc to a full gallon should be ok. Make sure to set the high speed needle so that the motor barely runs, but can stay running at WOT. Good luck, DJ Apolaro |
Great information DJ. Thank you posting it.

I have both the 2602 and the 2630. I have seen my engine faster all-around with the 2602.
so I take it the medium header works the best?? oh thats running on a 3sct tune cheers |
so the 2602 would be the best pipe for this engine, i run on a smallish track so i would be going for the 7fin header (for the bottom).
also what is the performance difference between the 2 Mitchell |

Michael
got these pipes instock regards Aaron |
Hey thanks DJ. Is that 2602 better for the 353 also, I have a 2630 on the way, should I have both?
|
One pipe may be different to tune than the other. I use the 2630 with short header and like it. The key to the 353 motor is gearing and the split from 1st to 2nd. I normally run about 2.3-2.5 final drive split and also make sure the 2speed is shifting correct. I use this pipe on tracks like Ft Myers, which is bottom and mid range and also at Kissimmee, which is top end. I do not think you need the 2602, however if you like to have choices, it can not hurt. However it is not needed.
