Yes the engine is great and easy to tune. We add .3 shim and run perfectly:)

Fuel recommendation: This engine has been developed to be used with a fuel with a maximum of 16% nitro content and with an oil percentage not lower than 7%. We therefore suggest not to use it with different percentages compared to the ones specified here above.

There is no calculation.... only a rule to add about 0.1mm shim per 10% more nitro.

In Europe we run 16% Nitro in 2,11 engines, and that's why the European company Novarossi develops their engines for 16% nitro.

More nitro is only useful for people that can't adjust an engine :lol:

A lot of serious racers in the US are starting 16% as well, since it keeps the mileage up.

Beside that. Nitro is now listed as an ingredient to make bombs due a bomb strike in Spain where it was used. New laws makes it less easy for customers and factories to get it and could be could be a problem and/or expencive to make fuel with a high nitrocontent
