I'm not crazy enought to pay that much money for the 353 package. I'm trying to fix the N12P of a friend who bought the package and was shocked when he saw the N12P :weird:

doesn't really matter how it looks............

excepot for the standard plug head button the engine is like the NS12P3......

it uses the same p/s set, cranckcase, bearings, carburettor, rear cover, etc, etc, etc.........

it can be a little bit slower than the P3 due to the standard plug, but it's far from being a piece of junk..............i'm not saying WOW what a great deal, but being ugly is not the reason for this engine perform very bad.......

Yeah, but you are overlooking the most important part, the crankshaft and that's where it becomes strange. Try to find this crank on another engine. You won't.

It's the worst crank I've ever seen from NR and it's a power killer....

Nitro$junkie 05-06-2007 12:16 AM

i think NR think they can do what ever they like cause they now they are the best manufacture in the world they have moved from maximum quality to maximum profit

Here are the pics:

On the left is the NS12P crank, on the right a 6 year old MT12 crank. You can see that the induction opening one the N12P is even shorter than on the MT12.

Here is the counter weight:

and the sleeve with the strange exhaust port and the long connecting rod from the MT12

This engine is set upfor stadium trucks.

Is this sleeve from a MR12:

I have an mega MF .12 engine and i used Mega glow plugs. i heard Mega glow plugs are made by Picco. So can i use Novarossi or JP Glow plugs in my engine and are they better that the Mega glow plugs?

I recommend that you use a nova rossi plug for the MF as it is nova based.

JP plugs are Novarossi plugs just in a different package, and the MF.12 is a novarossi based engine, but I would deff use Nova plugs..
