maybe you didnt adjust the endplay right

I know this has probably been asked before, but I need a complete look...

When it comes to conrods... which .12 novarossi engine has the same conrod as which....

I know that the Novarossi 353 and the Novarossi 12-3SCT have different conrods, the bushings are different...

But what about the Novarossi 12-3CT, and the other models?
What about the LL3 and the LS3 model? Conrods are different from the 12-3SCT???

And speaking of the Mugen X-12 and Novarossi NSR3... does the conrod change also???

Thnks in advanced.

All Novarossi .12 engines after the Mugen MT12 (long rod engine), which was the very first rear exhaust engine, use the NR 7601 conrod.

Only the 353 is using the 7602 conrod, which is about twice as expensive.

Thnks alot stefan!...

So out of curiosity, if LL3 is a long stroke engine, and the LS3 is a short stroke engine, and the conrods are the same, where does it change?

PS: Where are you getting that the 7602 is twice as expensive??? I only see it about $5 more...

The conrod does not determine the stroke. That is a function of the crankshaft.

I don't know where you are pricing your conrods but the dealer pricing on the 7602 conrod is almost twice as expensive as the 7601

Maybe this has been asked already, Does anyone know if the 12-3 is still in production? Rumor is it has been discontinued.

I am not so sure if even NR could answer this question:sneaky:

I see the regular 12-3 for really low prices recently, which could be a blow out sale.
NR team drivers are stating that the 12-3 S types with the 11.9 mm crank are being discontinued, but they just got a bit more expensive and are available everywhere.

So, who knows...

PLUS 12-3, 13-3C, 12-3T and 12-3CT are out of productions since the begining of 2008 and the remaining pieces were indeed sold at clearance price.................

PLUS 12-3S, 12-3SC, 12-3ST and 12-3SCT as well as their TUNED versions are still in current production without any price change since the end of 2007 when all NR prices were lowered..........

I need to get a .12 3port engine for 1/10 onroad. What novarossi pipe and header is the best for under 100 bucks. Also i would like to get a novarossi engine but i cant see outting out 350 bucks what is the cheapest .12 3port novarossi motor?
thanks

JetMD 10-26-2008 06:57 AM

If you can't afford a novarossi, get an os or a picco.

CREWMAN 10-26-2008 07:33 AM

Thats what i figured but i would still like to get a novarossi pipe. What one goes good with the os tz .12 3 port

wingracer 10-26-2008 10:10 AM

The OS pipe works best with the TZ. Sorry, forget the number.

Novarossi 359 differences...

Can anyone tell me the difference between the first 359 Race .21 that came with the practice motor & new 2008 version that was sold on its own?

Francis M. 10-29-2008 11:55 PM

Has anyone compared the +12ct to the 353 performance wise?

I had one and I think it was 1040. If you search Towerhobbies and look at the OS TZ, I think they have a pipe recommendation on there.
