what about the NS3... is it slower than the LL3??

yes......

it's short stroke, at high flow tracks the difference may be impossible to notice.....

but it lacks torque compared to the LL3 and PLUS engines.....

yes, considering bore vs stroke it's long stroke......

but 13.8 x 14.05 is short stroke in Novarossi line......

LL3, PLUS and PLUS 2 are 13.7 x 14.25........

LSN- 5 1/2 turns out
HSN- 3 turns out

xtreme888 01-19-2008 01:46 AM

sounds silly, but if fuel spitting from carb when started...this COULD be the starter box wired up backward !

cdelong 01-19-2008 09:38 AM

If it started backwards, the timings would be so far off, it would die just off idle.

I am going to pick up a stock one fo the shorter dirt tracks. I am very pleased with what I have, as far as the power it makes. I am sure it would be plenty of power for TC club races at a reasonable price.

Thanks Scortty for the response, I hope more guys with this engine will come foward and give comments. I have one on the way and will put it through the paces after a good solid break in,:batman: :tire:

Now as far as Novarossi what method would be considered the best way to reak them it ?

It's just different production runs with slight variations. There were similiar findings with the 35+21 engines- different blocks, sleeves and rods. It's all good man- relax ;)

Marc

Marc,

there will always be two different qualities

The one you can buy in the shop and the one that you receive directly from the factory and which you have to send back after the race, un-opened...;)

Thing is, we both will never see the second quality:cry:

Yep, Daniele signed with Schäfer to run the Velox for two years, but he never ran a Motonica.

He says, that's the only car he wouldn't race, even for the best money;)

He was with Kyosho before...

Excuse me your right, he was with Kyosho....
