Had the exact same problem once and it was a piece of an silicone header gasket which did this.

Ok I ll check the pipe later, i m using Nova 9886 pipe . Do you also know the size of inner ceramic nearing? And does Nova sell the same bearing size but not ceramic one? Thanks..

If its the Plus series, the back bearing is 14.5x26x6mm.

Thanks ezveedub.. how about the front one? whats the size of it? I think the original nova ceramic bearing has too much tolerance making the crankshaft wobble. I might want to try TKO ceramic bearing. Has any of you tried it before? Is it tighter tolerance than the Nova one?

The front is 7x19x6. Unless your running a 359 which was 7x19x5mm or 367 which is 7x19x6.3mm. Either way, the 7x19x6mm should work fine. I have that one in my 367. As for the TKO, I can't say, but may know a little more. I installed one in s Sirio and should know how it is later this week. As for the bearings, is seems the bearings with larger & less balls than original last better than stock novarossi. Stock is usually small 11 balls. Some aftermarket are larger 10 or 9 ball bearings.

I m still having trouble tuning my Plus 21-3,i have checked my pipe and nothing seem to be wrong with it, the fuel still spit from the carb when you punch the throttle and this really up set the acceleration of my car, can someone post a good starting point on low speed needle and high speed needle turn from fully close?:(:(

From what i understand on of the guys down here in Florida ran the mule novarossi at a state race in Port Charlotte. It was fast i heard.

Is it possible that the mule engine is a Novarossi tunned version of the ns12p3 or the new ns12ts1. These two engine are almost identical except the ns12p3 as 3000 rpm higher rev band.:)

What do you guys think?

Novarossi Plus 12.

Hi,

Does anyone know whether the Novarossi Plus 12-3 is a long or short stroke engine?

My son currently runs a Novarossi LL3, which is a long stroke motor & i wanted to know if the Plus 12-3 is a similar type, as his car works well with a more torquey engine.

Does anyone run the Plus 12-3 engine & how does it compare to other similar engines?

Any feedback will be welcomed.

Regards,
Everready

If i understand correctly the 12-3 is short and the 353 is long stroke.:tire:

both LL3 and PLUS 12-3 are long stroke......

the Plus version is faster due to the new shaft and the dome of the piston........

Ever since the new generation 123plus and after are all long stroke engine. There is a trend going for long stroke for 3port. But which one is more powerfull, 123plus or the LL3,,,,.....

If you have any information on this engine please post a reply. Need help please. I have been trying to find out if any one has used this engine and what they thought. Can any one tell if it would be good for club races or even worth the time.

I am running a Murnan Modified NS12TS1 in my Nitro Sprint Car. It is wicked Bad fast with loads of torque. It is actually too much motor on the short dirt tracks. I am going to pick up a stock one fo the shorter dirt tracks. I am very pleased with what I have, as far as the power it makes. I am sure it would be plenty of power for TC club races at a reasonable price.
