I would use the standard head clearance no more for 20% for sure. You should be fine without the extra lift. As long as you are running a decent plug not a way hot 5 or something.

ok, if I understand, now on P.R. I use .60 gasket, #7 plug with 30% fuel with both engines, to use 20% I should use .40gasket for Evo2,.50 gasket for Evo3 with #6 plug.

Yes you can run that. Also when you go down to the 16 or 20% fuel you can goto a 6 plug. Will make it run a bit more favorable.

Thanks Jerry for the unbelievable IDM .21 Evo 3 motor! I ran it this past weekend at the 301 Classic and finished 2nd in the A-main! I made 5 mins with ease, so I had plenty of runtime to qualify with great speed. I qualified 12th and bumped up to the A to show them how a IDM Evo 3 runs with the big boys. Thanks Jerry for the IDM Engines!

Emailing your information to us would be a start. You can email us if you would like to. [email protected]. I would assume you are in the U.S. If so send the contact info a bit about yourself, name, classes run,etc and we will get back to you.

The shimming of the motor was standard .3, I ran 25% Maxy's Fuel, ran a 8.5 restrictor. Also ran just an air filter no INS box.
