IDM Products?
Sorry if this issue has been addressed already, but I must ask it.
Are these engines and pipes any good? I see them floating around some stores but I never heard of the company, anyone ever use them or own one and what do you think? are they fast/realible?

IDM Engines
Daniel Ileasi is the man behind IDM...they are Picco based engines. Contact Jerry and XS Power for more details. He's an importer for them and may have some in stock. I know he pretty much got cleaned out at the Winternats.

These engines are excellent, but if you are in the US, you should be looking at the Ofna JL engine. Basically the same engine at a real bargain price

IDM is great engines similar to popular tuned brands.
But take Stephan's advice the JL Red .12 has been getting some very good attention and is priced right.

Check this site out and give them a call. I hear they are giving pretty good deals out on the JL and IDM. http://www.kamikazetoysandhobbies.com/home.htm

IDM are a good motor,
Daniel is moding the motors and the EVO 3 version should be out in a few weeks.
For a lower priced modded motor, this one is worth a good look I think.
In a couple of weeks I'll be able to give a first hand feed-back on it as I'm getting one!! I'll let you know how it goes.
Raceday Hobbies is the distributor for the new modded IDM EVO 3 so Sam has all the low down on it.

i cant find a site on the IDM, but racedays has the engine and some specs, as the ofna/picco site has the info on the std engines.
i just run in the EVO 2 today and is the fastest motor i have put in my car so far. the EVO 3 has bigger bore in the crank , better bearings and lightened and balanced crankshaft, and the silicone fill as well. certainly happy with the performance, and awaiting the EVO3 so much so now

I ran the Blackheaded version of the IDM ,this was my first run with the motor, it was sick fast,an had a chance to race it against the JL RedDot both motors where in S720,s we were the fastest cars on the track.I am happy with this motor an will doing alot more testing ,Also the pipe an header i use was the IDM,if for some reason you cant get the the IdM,get the Mega pipe an Header combo work also.

Patto, British,
you guys are fast in your replies.
From what I understand, the IDM EVO2 is PICCO based and is very fast. The EVO3 coming out in a few weeks are modified version of a newer engine.
Can't wait to get one and find out how fast they really are!!! The only way to find out is to put it on the track.
