I have an Ninja .12, and Im barely done with break in. Last time I runned it the sleeve where the throtle ball cup goes broke off. I was told to call mugen and they should send me a replacement since its still under warranty. I called mugen this morning and the told me I had to buy a new one. What do you guys think?

The endpoints were fine. The week before, the setscrew on the ball end came off, and it was striped. I love this engine, I was just getting the hang of the way it likes to be tuned and it was running great. I guess I will have to get a new carb.

I had a carb once with a plastic fuel nipple that broke off. It was an old carb so I went to my local hobby shop and he was able to order me the part I needed and it was only a couple bucks. You might want to look into that instead of buying the whole carb.

The part that broke is pressed into the carb body, you cant replace it.

I've heard a rumor about the magnesium coolinghead breaking....
I've had this once with an OS max engine, this one, I thought I lost a tyre, but as this tire was blue, it was something else....

So you continue to spread rumors? I know of many that have these and not had any issues. If its a rumor, why continue if its not true???

Sorry I just don't understand why people do this.

You know Wally, you should really consider buying a break-in bench. You buy enough engines for it to be worth the investment.
