it's too rich. get that puppy up around 250F.

lean both needles 1/8 of a turn to start. when you lean the low end you will have to lower the idle a touch as well.

when you get the top end right you'll probably need to tighten the two speed screws about 1/4 turn each. it will make so much more power it will shift too early.

Anyone else had anything like this happen?

maybe u didnt tighten it the first time as it come loose in the box to suit to different cars carb mounting positions =-)

You weren't lying about that. I adjusted the clutch nut a bit to let it rev higher in the power band and that made so much of a difference it's not funny. It screams. And yes, the tranny shifted way too early. Gotta get new springs for the 2 speed to keep that thing in check.

The Ninja's are getting scarce because everyone is scooping them up They know a good thing when they see it!! I had a hard time finding some, but when I did- I got three

Try Brooklyn Hobbies- I think he has some in now.

If you have trouble getting the Ninja enignes, try the Falcon Line. Same engines, basically.

I am using 99 on 1/8 in hot weather city and 97 for 1/10 on-road touring.

you should stick with the Ninja plugs. I believe they have a different taper than the other brands mentioned.

Also, Mike Swauger stated using any other brand of plug will void the warrenty on the Ninja.

me too, no signs of leaking and same running time. I do not know how the taper makes the difference, but as long as it provides the same running time, i am ok with it, and my machine is on the second set of bearings and conrod, no damage so far.
