cdelong. This weekend I opened the fifth gallon for the non A-spec I have been running. Finally it is no longer locking up at t.d.c. with the glow plug out. Ballistic. I tune by eye and check it with a temp. gun that way I have some number to give the pit guy. 280 its good, 290 I'm going hunting. The rod looks brand new and I have only used three plugs including break in(16 tanks). I am not experiencing a week bottom end as some people have stated. MSR spring, flyweights drilled to 4mm, nut at 10.2mm , 16-49 for big tires and 17-50 for small tires. Let it eat. I definitely feel the amount of time getting this Ningee to loosen up is well worth it. MH7 if you've got the time and a break in bench you should get one. Follow Mikes break in and enjoy...cheers

Maybe, I follow a self modified Cyrul methode and it's working for me...
This weekend heard some reports of the Ninja 21-A which could not keep up with the DSII (+) and JP's......

links to your prices showing all those engines being less expensive here in the U.S as compared to the ninja. since Most of the people here are reffering to U.S. prices.

You can't even find a current nova 12 for under $290 let alone a JP.

Francis, aren't we saying the same?....
The Ninja is more expensive than the engines I've mentioned....
still not as expensive as Novarossi....

Jaykay mentioned that the Ninja is unbeatable in its pricetag......
Maybe in the USA, but certainly not here in Europe.....
a JP ".12 FX12 T-03MT" is around the same price......

Performance wise it is also not unbeatable... (atleast the .21 isn't)

total right M7H is always negative against Ninja-Mugen also on Dutch forums.

just keep in mind he is the only one with a Mega/Serp in our series.

We are not saying the same thing. Here in the U.S. and I would Asume germany where JayKay is from there is a big enough difference in price.
Hey, If you are really happy with what ever engine you are running why aren't you in those forums lending support instead of trying to always derail this thread with hear say. I asked you for a link especially here in the U.S. since I don't know if you have noticed a majority of the posters are from. lol

Didn't see the " " ?....

Not bad, realistic, but also not a problem, or is it....
A Novarossi is still the fastest (and most expensive) engine out there...... but I don't really care....
A lot of people buy these engines, but can't handle the power of it....
The Ninja is a very nice engine, as far as I can see, reliable, and long lasting..... (I have seen some minor failures, but that is with every engine...)

come one, grow up....
I compared prices with your pricetags Michel, so......
Or are your pricetags unrealistic?.....

I am not at all negative about the Ninja, and certainly not on the Dutch Forums, where i have even never been in any discussion.... don't start flaming me now about something which is not true.....

Huh?... I spent the weekend feeding my ninja dsII+(are they ever going to release something that runs?) novas, JP's and that Collari gimmik, not impressive, especially when cost is figured into the equation. I would follow Mikes instructions as he has had much more time with this engine and I know yourself and Josh have not experienced anything with this much unyielding pinch. First tank warm the engine with a heat gun to 180-200 degrees fahrenheit, once it fires keep the heat up with the gun for about 30 seconds then bring the rpm up. If you don't it will begin to squeak loudly finally locking up solidly at t.d.c.
